Our senior partner David has been a successful solicitor for over 40 years. An acknowledged expert in Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing law he also holds Higher Rights of Audience enabling him to appear in the highest courts in the land. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. He has lectured and trained a wide variety of individuals not only in Licensing law and practice but also Business Management. The award of ‘Business Person of the Year’ 2017 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants (South East) is the latest evidence of his outstanding achievements.

A Managing Partner of the firm, Russell attended university where he qualified as an Occupational Psychologist, obtaining a B.Sc and M.Sc in Psychology. He practiced for several years before deciding to retrain and become a Solicitor, achieving a LL.B Hons. Having joined the firm in 2007, Russell brings his unique blend of psychology and legal expertise when undertaking negotiations, in Court and in all aspects of his legal work. Primarily working on all aspects of litigation and employment, Russell also has a strong reputation for dealing with Landlord & Tenant matters.

After graduating in Biomedical Science at King’s College London, Sayuri went on to study law and subsequently qualifying as a Solicitor. Bringing previous experience in residential property and immigration gained at two London law firms Sayuri joined Hook & Partners to complete her training as a solicitor. Since then Sayuri has become a Partner in our firm working in and helping to supervise our Commercial and Private Client Wills and Probate departments.
